To “develop and engage in the collaborative and social aspects of writing processes”.

This refers to a multitude of things—peer reviews, discussion posts, in-class discussions, assignment reviews, etc. This is all done with the goal of collaborating with those around you in order to address things in your writing that you probably didn’t notice. These are helpful because you can reveal a mistake or perspective to someone who hadn’t noticed it before and they can do the same for you. Whether we were online or in person, collaborative efforts were made to successfully engage in the writing process.
